Sounds a great project, it's going to be awesome! Could send it to Cool N Vintage, their works is spectacular but Portugal maybe a little too far? https://www.coolnvintage.com/
Could try John Brooks at Cult 4x4 Framlingham, Suffolk be right up his street James MY2012 110 2.2TDCi XS SW Orkney Grey - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic43410.html MY1990 110 200TDi SW beautifully faded Portofino Red - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post743641.html#743641 MY1984 90 V8 Slate Grey - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post744557.html#744557 Instagram @suffolk_rovers |

More of the car as is currently
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Has anyone else had one of these from Purely Metal? Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Quite a lot beefier than a standard hood sticks set, looks good in galvanised and also acts as a seatbelt mount - seems like a win win to me |

Lovely looking Series 2a, I've got a 1966 Series 2a.
Re the heavy duty galvanized hood sticks/roll bar, the Land Rover pictured belongs to a friend of mine. I've travelled in the Land Rover on a number of occasions and it is a very good piece of kit, definitely worth the money in my opinion. From memory, I believe it was a custom made job, rather than off the shelf. If you have any questions about it, I can ask for you. BORG - Bucks & Oxon 4x4 Response Group |

Thanks for that mini anaconda
He does them standard now for £522 which I think is far better value than an exmoor seat belt hoop / bar plus hood stivks |
