Not motoring related but... People who pick up their dog (biodegradable) and put it in a plastic (none biodegradable) bag and then either put it back exactly where the dog laid it or hang it in a tree for everyone else to enjoy. To all you morons; kick it in the hedge or put it in a bin.
DRL are one thing but people who drive with front fogs on all the time. If visibility is poor, put your lights on. If fog is thick and you can barely see the end of your bonnet, put your rear fog light on and if you're driving around a McDonalds car park and have extremely small genitals, put your front fogs on. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon. |

Yeh, driving lights should go out with the main beam. These burks usually drive around with their lights off and spots on, or in the dark they dip their lights but leave the blinding spots on. This is when you need a front mounted 4ft Lazer light to burn out their retinas.

Everyone knows (ar least if you're <25 or a twa*) that putting your front fog lights on makes your car look cooler, for some reason that has escaped me. Not sure why a pair of lights set closer to the ground would ever make a Saxo look cool, let alone cool-er... If I had my way, front fogs would be linked to the ECU so that with them on the speed of the vehicle was limited to, say, 30mph, and the rear fogs would be linked to an incendiary device built into the dirver's seat.
I think that this would sort the problem in a rather satisfactory manner. Oh, and the driver's airbag or steering wheel boss would be replaced by a sharp spike. Sorted! Driving standards would improve instantly! |

I think it's lighting in general that we all have issue with. At least with drls you know where your at, indicators well that's a completely diffent kettle of fish. I remember the old adage mirror, signal, manouver in decent time. Not phone / text, mascara / apply beard oil, brake heavily turn then indicate occasionally all within 3 yards of a junction

Anyone else got back to work blues after a bit of time out with family? I've only been back for 2 days and it is properly . I'm surrounded by 20 year olds from Accenture who have swallowed the textbooks whole but haven't a clue how to apply their 'knowledge'. One balls up after another and no one gets fired. I'm getting too old for this nonsense........

Know what you mean. Worked with several large consultancy firms who rarely deliver as promised. They all overrun and cost a lot more and mainly employ textbook experts who spend far longer than in the plan to understand your business and then the promised transformation is often not completed or only to the "minimum viable product" with all the nice bits leftover.
The above is speaking from experiance in 3 industries and employing the worlds best ....so they say....consultants from Europe, India and USA. Grrrrrrr |

Weather!
I'm not one to normally complain about it but as of now it is just purely awful, not one decent day to do any decent work outside. It's either been freezing, or wet or both nearly all day every day for weeks now. Even when it does dry out, the next day it'll be wet all over again. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Freezing coldest period for quite some time. Logs are going down fast so I may order some coal, gives off more heat I am told, though it maybe that the local coal merchant is just saying that.
I do have a muti fuel burner. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |
