Royal Mail Parcel service biggest joke on the planet. I have been waiting for a parcel posted twenty miles from where I live for seven days. Royal mail, more expensive than any other carrier and they give a service that is absolute .
I have a tracking number and for six days now all it has said on the website: Latest update: Good news, your item is progressing through our network and is on its way. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

Bloody people who drive too fast in rural lanes.
Had one today flying down a hill on a bend, no where to go. I'm stopped he's driving far to fast slams the anchors on and skids and slides straight at me on wet and grit. Really thought I'd had it and he was on his way into the front of me sideways. Luckily he just controlled it by hitting the bank sideways. It really was madness and was about a 2012 Ford Focus. No damage to me or mine thank god but he had a car no older than 4 years now damaged. If only the fool realised that he should keep his speed down, that there is oncoming traffic with no room to move and that there is grit, mud, and water in patches then he wouldn't have done damage to the car. So silly... Not to mention very very dangerous... |

Agreed, a lot of people just bowl along without thinking what could be around the next bend or take into account slippery conditions, gravel, mud, wet leaves etc. It could have been a pedestrian, horse rider or carriage driver or cyclist they encountered. Steve.

When a speeding muppet going way too fast glares at you for being on your own side of the road on a narrow lane, or worse you back up a single lane so someone can pass and not put their hand up or even recognise what you have done, I just want to boil their heads. Equally frustrating are those who think it's okay to pootle along at 35 on wide open country roads where the safe speed is easily 50-60. Usually old biddies in little cars.

Very grumpy at the moment.
Just spent 4 hours removing two setscrews from my Patriot rack - why oh why did the designer decide that is was a good idea to use coutersunk hex socket head stainless screws in tapped holes in an aluminium rack? After a few years it is utterly impossible to remove them since (a) the head design provides the least possible torque rating, (b) they 'weld' themselves into the aluminium , and (c) they can't even be drilled out successfully because they're A2 stainless! To add insult to injury there is not a single fixing on the rack where an unthreaded hole and nut couldn't be used, and in most cases conventional decent hex head setscrews could be used instead of the abhorrent csk hex socket head. There is also no need for stainless, which has no place on any road vehicle imo. Stupid, pointless, and b*****y annoying. The one serious flaw with an otherwise excellent product. |

^^^ that's where a genuine LR rack is best, by the time you're done with it, it's already rusted off as a whole and you're left with a lightweight tube made of powder coat

Cyclists 2 abreast on a busy dark twisty road, no lights and completely oblivious to the dangers they put themselves in .. But I guess the gene pool will sort that.

People who, once they've seen some situation they don't like on the road*, STOP - right in the freakin' middle of it.
It's like target fixation or something. * someone doing a U-turn, a truck on an angle, a two car wide gap, a cyclist, a pot hole, a corner ... Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

Telecommunications have all this wonderful technology yet they still can't transmit a signal with accurate lip-sync.
It rarely happened in the analogue TV days. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
