Well, Naturally! Thanks for the top tip Joel. I usually try the high street down to the station, behind the pantiles and then up by the forum and usually find something. Handy to know 130 shape spaces though for future reference She works in Clarkes, part time. Not much but its a start Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Well I posted that on 12th January, one of the potholes errrr sort of 'repaired' on 12th January is still filled in. Well the snow on our local 'major' road has disappeared. Now one of the repairs is still there about 3 ft long 15 wide and 4" deep. Right adjacent to the repair is another pot hole about 4" deep, 15" wide and only 2.5 ft long. Now is that first 'repair' a successful repair or not? Brendan |

Recently, our local council spent two weeks repairing the half mile of road that runs past our house.
There had been nothing wrong with it before the repairs. The half mile to the south of it, however, is in desperate need of repair. Could somebody have made a mistake..............? |

reach out An unfortunately creepy term that is means "to contact" or similar. Brings to mind grasping and undesirable contact from strangers. 1) Charles, please reach out to Jane and provide her the information she requires. 2) My (political) campaign will reach out to every voter. Bruce: I'm going to 'reach out' to Bill today. Tom: Hey Bruce, why do you always insist on talking like a fag?! That little homily won't hide the fact that your a douche-bag. Could almost be confused with Grenadier Troll... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |

Why is it that when you ring an Insurance company call centre over the weekend to get a mistake in the certificate they sent you corrected do you then find that that they have not corrected the mistake but created another which means you have ben happily driving round for 3 days without the correct insurance cover.
Five minutes on the phone to a young lady in the local office and everything put right. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

People who think it is acceptable to wander the streets grazing on fried chicken dropping the bones as they go. When I took my son's dog out last night, he managed to find three bones which I had to try get off him. It's easy to spot them in daylight and steer him away but in the dark I don't stand a chance against his sense of smell. In the litter louts' defence there was no sign of the takeaway food containers, they presumably made it to the bin.

People that dont meet deadlines.
Borrowed one of my trailers to be returned Friday or Sunday Morning. Just got a call that the things still on it and can it be until Tuesday Obviously they need it more than I do for that day. Moral is dont lend stuff out when they persuade you to help them out! Defender puma dormobile camper |

Yet another company sales person who promises to ring within the next 4 hours with a price for supply and fitting of an item for the Defender and fails to do so.
I'm not chasing them up they must be making a lot of money if they do not want my money. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |
