Used to drive me mad too until I realised at least on some sites you can get it read out to you Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

How about "What is my mother's maiden name"... Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Simple for some as it is definitely the same as their surname. Says everything.

What is it with people who can't or won't sit in the seat they've been allotted to on an aircraft?
It happened to me once again last week. Having made sure I checked-in on-line 24 hours before flying, to specifically select the seat I wanted, I arrived at my designated spot only to find someone else sitting there. He then looks at me as if to say "Can't you go and sit somewhere else, I like this seat". He soon realised that I wasn't going to let up whereupon he relented and moved to his seat which, as usual, was a middle row seat because he hadn't the brains or ability to check-in early and pick a better one! Rant over |

I've just been watching the BBC Breakfast programme and I'm wondering when females that have acting jobs are called 'actors'. When did that happen? When I went to school actors were men and women were called actresses.
Another thing that annoys me is the constant use of describing an act that happens more than once as 'two time's, it's twice! Damned Americanisms. |
