Me too, I personally rarely ever bid anyway but on the rare occasion I do I only bid to a maximum that I'm prepared to pay and within means at the time, bidding on something you know you can't proceed with or pay is just idiotic.
I had someone once win my auction and they just did absolutely nothing, not even respond. Evil or Very Mad
At least there are second chance offers if they are still interested in it, GBR

I never understand the people that decline second offers though straight away Confused Makes me wonder how serious they were.

So very simple solution, if you have not got the money in your bank account Do not bother bidding!

Well said, sadly far to many live beyond their means. Only thing id ever get without the money is a house. You can only have something if you can pay for it in hard earnt! Defender puma dormobile camper

There's a lot of scamming that goes on with second chance offers so I think people are weary of taking the chance.

So Screwfix came up trumps... I emailed them about my wasted journey and inaccurate stock levels on their website and as a gesture of goodwill they sent me the item for free!! I know it was only 12 but hey at least they know there is an issue and I am a happy bunny!

I know a good debate! How old do you have to be categorised as being old?

I started feeling it at 41.

Now 50, life seems to be marching-on far too fast Confused Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
