i am soon going to change springs and shocks and consider it a sensible opportunity to use galvanised fitting kit with turrets etc etc from "Paddock Spares". I want to use this company because they are competative price and delivery to France and a honest conversion to pay direct in Euro. These pieces are double price in France suppliers!
I am reading this comments forum about this idea and it is believed that always a good opportunity to do this job BUT I hear bit crisis of confidence with the mark "Britpart". The Paddock Spares do a complete kit for this change, good price, all pieces together but the brand is Britpart. Is it the opinion of anyone who has used this front suspension turrets galvanised kit that I should avoid this brand for this piece because of poor quality? I thank you. |

I replaced my turrets with the paddock heavy duty tubular, and had them powder coated
No issues and still look like new. Click image to enlarge Cheers WYL 2015 90 Keeper 2005 R300 Keeper 2019 XC40 Shopping Trolley 2008 110 XS Utility (Friday Build) Gone! |

When I did my suspension I put the Terrafirma tubular shock turrets on.
There's nowhere at the top for mud and water to sit (unlike the original cone type) also easier to install shocks and keep an eye on everything afterwards. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper. Wide Track Sankey- In bits- Gone to a new home M0XQS |

I have this kit fitted and yeah, you will need to run a drill through the four holes to clean them up. Once on that it your laughing. I got mine painted up before they went on the car, My dad took care not to damage the paint on when he drilled, which was a bonus.
