just blame me It will pull strong to 0 to 60. Not sure how far you can go with it tuning wise, due to been an injection model. I know Rovers of that era the ECUs are not really programmable. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I can see it now - sorry your pitch has ruts in it. I was doing power runs for Procta
There are a few options ECU wise. You can reprogram them - it's just that instead of flashing over OBD you need to physically replace the chip inside the ECU. Mine is already chipped for the 5L V8 but I'm sure things have moved on since it was done and the tune could probably be improved upon. The second option is an aftermarket ECU. This is an option I've looked into quite extensively. Not only would it allow me to tune it myself, I could then run coil packs instead of a dizzy and various other more modern ancillaries to make it more efficient and hopefully even more powerful! (one being the MAF sensor which is amazingly restrictive) It's a project so it'll never actually be finished 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Cheers Clayton
Hopefully you'll be able to hear it in the flesh soon enough - fingers crossed! It's such a shame we have to run front numberplates in the UK. i would change the head lights to crystal, which would really set that off nicely. As for the grass been ripped up, just say the ride on pedal jammed in resulting in it back firing and tearing up the grass.
