2013 110 Clutch
Gears are becoming difficult to select with only 34K km on the clock. This happens intermittently. On one occasion the car continued to creep forward in 1st with the clutch pedal fully depressed. Popped it out of gear and all worked fine after that. Clutch hydraulic system has already been bled. Would appreciate some ideas on what the cause could be.

I has similar problems on my previous 110, turned out that the clutch plate springs were falling out on mine and jamming it up. I also had a random screeching sound sometimes when the clutch was dipped. Approx 45,000 miles on my clutch at the time.

2013 110XS SW Gears difficult to select
Gears are becoming difficult to select with only 34K km on the clock.
This happens intermittently. Occasionally there is a rattle ...somewhere below the gear shift. On one occasion the car continued to creep forward in 1st with the clutch pedal fully depressed. Popped it out of gear and all worked fine after that. Pressing and releasing the pedal seems to help. Clutch hydraulic system has been bled. Pedal vertical height to floor is 140 mm; Pedal travel from full up to full down (touching floor) is 170 mm (should be 135 mm), however, when functioning 'normally' the clutch engage/disengage operates about mid pedal travel (it releases before the pedal touches the floor).
Would appreciate some ideas on what the cause could be.

Thanks AM...
Not sure I should continue driving with this. Any idea of the failure modes of the slave cylinder (eg internal hydraulic leakage)?

Yes I did, thanks DAZ110. Apologies for not replying to you earlier.
I switched the subject from Technical to Maintenance & Modifications.
I want to make sure I order all possible parts (hard to come by where I am!) so that I can nail it in one go when they drop the gearbox. I can always return unused parts. So far on the list of possible causes I have: Slave Cylinder, Clutch Plate, and Pressure Plate. Anything else? As I have only 34K Km on the clock not sure if I should change anything else...eg thrust bearing, fork? Thoughts?

If your opening it up you might as well change all parts.

I guess you mean warning bells about a pending failure of the salve cylinder?

Has anyone experienced any problems with the 'Slave Cylinder Outlet Assembly & Peak Torque Limiter'? From what I've read this unit restricts fluid flow during the clutch pedal up stroke. I'm guessing here that a partial blockage could affect clutch operation either way.

New development; in neutral and engine at idle, with foot off the clutch (clutch engaged) no noise; with clutch pedal depressed you can hear a distinct taca-taca-taca...rattle noise. Looks like the slave cylinder/thrust bearing is not pulling away from the cover plate leaf springs.
Before I go the whole nine yards and drop the gearbox need some advice;
Could the cause(s) be:
1. Air in the system
2. Master Cylinder
3. Slave Cylinder & Release Bearing
4. Slave cylinder adapter.
5. Slave cylinder valve
6. All of the above?!
