Makes me wonder if it's deliberate to kill off the bearded weirdos who make up the current Defender fan before re-launching to an entirely new, young urban adventurer market? Bar name, I can't see them wanting any transfer of the history between the two. It'll be like the newer Wranglers, aimed at someone who works in some cool 21c office job in the week, before throwing their 10k carbon MTB on the back, ropes and harnesses in the boot, paddle board on the roof, and heading to the hills wearing Arc'teryx and Salomon trainers for a weekend of outdoor action. Just like the ads. Sounds like my life, I should be given one to trial. Thumbs Up

And these are exactly the type of people who will fork out £30K plus for a vehicle of this type. With respect to the "enthusiasts", very few of them are seen by JLR putting their hands in their pockets. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!

If more Americans paid attention to the UK government and its workings, along with the state of the UK, then they'd feel A LOT better about their own US government. LOL Rolling with laughter Thats saying something because MOST Americans HATE what our government has become..its why the Trump presidency was born. But its gonna take more than one "protest" election to change our rotten system.
But then again, its the UK so no one in the US really give two sh!tes. (I pay attention but I am a rare exception because I have some kind of fondness for the UK for some stupid reason) In the end, handle your own house and we'll handle ours.

Ramajama, I often watch an American television programme call Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, hosted by Guy Fieri. I sometimes can’t believe the size of the portions of food served up at these establishments or the size of the people who are eating them. We have many faults in this country but at least we do not get served (not yet anyway) a so called Homewrecker Hotdog, I could bot believe how the persons in the dive ate the thing , but they did. Shocked

Way behind? last time I checked we don't have armed gangs of Nazis gathering in our towns.

This isn't going to end well.
Before things get out of hand, we should remember that the USA and Britain have more in common than a language.
Like standing up for the right thing when no one else can, or is willing to try.

We also have lousy politicians. Americans had Donald J or Crooked Hillary as candidates at the last election. Meanwhile we had the choice of Theresa May, taking us all for granted, or comrade Corbin.
The results of both were lamentable, however we had the right to choose. That's far better than having the next generation Kim Jong imposed on us, or any other single candidate election.

There's good and bad points about any country. Sometimes we don't see how ridiculous we seem to the rest of the world.
Laughing at yourself helps too. Very Happy
