Pentille castle Cornwall Defender Event.

Not often we get an event in the far south west

I have no connection with the event whatsoever but thought others in the South West might also be interested. Would be great to meet some other forum members there

I'm going to make it this year as, at the last minute couldn't go to the one last year and it would be a great opportunity to meet some DEF2 members

did anyone go last year from here that knows whats on offer other than limited info on the website? doesnt look to be many vehicles or tents there in pics from their video. Cheers

Could we persuade Brendan of Overland 4x4 to jaunt down to sunny Cornwall on that day

that would be a trade stand I would like to view. Probably cost me a fortune

I'll be there, You'll find me somewhere on the off-road course as like last year I'll be marshalling / Drinking tea. Say hi or at least flash your lights, I'm not promising but I'm hoping to get some video recorded and I'll try to include you.

Hi grafty, The course AFAIK will be following pretty much the same as last years route and will be shiny friendly, Put it this way I carry a pruning saw and anything I don't want scratching my paint will get trimmed off(even if I do hold up the morning recce to do so). One of the 4x4R guys has an audi allroad this year and last year a Renault scenic RX4 went round.

From what we have been told and saw last year the course is supposed to be non-damaging - my partner is hoping to take her D4 round it ... but see the video below
