Mate
I'll be happy to pop into the Fairmile in Cobham and book something when we know what's what. Don't think they allow dogs though There is also the Bailiwick on the A30 that do allow dogs on leads, but that's Virginia waters way. Either way I can sort something Wes Oh woe, oh woe My crusty old landrover, It will not go. |

Daisy - I hope this is not hijacking your meet - please say so and I'll run this separately.
Looks like good Friday is 14th April, and Easter Sunday is the 16th. Shall we say Good Friday ? We could meet on the edge of the plains. If it's only me leading a group, can we keep the numbers around 16-20 (we can make big spaces) if there are others in the group who are happy to lead, we can expand. PC/Ipad with mapping is useful. Slow 20mph and gentle amble around the plains, no damaging routes, no wading, have a look at the "lost" village of Imber as it will be open, and a few tea/coffee stops, nothing too muddy or challenging, lots of stops for coffee/chat and photography How does that sound ? Essentials: OS Map of Salisbury Plains, Tea/Coffee+Lunch, wipes for number plates and lights Optional: CB - makes the world of difference when are are all in convoy Please add your name to the thread and closer to the time I'll PM you and give you exact details of location and start time. |
