The day was great and the display was interesting - even if the Dartmoor Rescue Group had a call out mid way though the afternoon !! there were a variety of landrovers and a few sales vendors on site, with lots for the kids to do.
The off-road course was interesting at times and undamageing (apart from one incident where that rear end of non-landrover vehicle was rearranged ) a few interning areas mainly due to the mud from the rain this week, but many vehicles were fine on road tyres and careful driving. A few 66 plate discoveries and a few series twos went round and had no issues. we were marshalling the course for half the day and everyone we saw going round had a big smile on their face! the offload course took about an hour to go round due to there being some moody bits and vehicle separation on the decent. one for the diary next year I think - its probably going to get bigger each year A good day out Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |
