Trackers with in-built battery need to be permanent live, the internal battery is a failsafe of protection for extra security if power is cut.
They aren't designed to be only charged when vehicle is in use.

There are permanent lives readily available but not ignition switched lives.

Only ignition switched lives I can think of off the top of my head is the HU ignition feed & lighter plug supply.

Is there an ignition switched Live under the drivers seat fuse boxes area? TheThunderRollsπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

The relay is for my second (aka sacrifical) tracker, so flat internal battery isn't a problem. I added the relay as I was repeatedly having the low voltage warning when starting. Seemed to be something useful to exclude and it's been much better since.
I've been told there's no switched live under the driver's seat and didn't want to risk warranty etc running wires from the dashboard.
