My 110 XS SW is about 18 months olds. About 6 months ago, I left the inside light on and flattened the battery. All appears to work OK, but lately if I start the engine, reverse out of the garage, then turn off, I get a warning sound when I start the engine for the 2nd time.
I understand that this is a battery warning. Looking at my tracker data, the battery had been dropping down to about 12.2V. Charges at 14V, then drops to about 13-13.5V when stopped again. Is the battery failing, or is it just the cold weather? Seems like very short battery life, but I may have damaged the battery when it was discharged by the internal light. |

I normally only use my Defender at weekends, occasionally it's left standing for a couple of weeks. When parked up at home I always use a Ctek charger to charge and condition the battery. It's plugged in through the 13 pin tow socket so a doddle to connect.
