Mud rails changed for Nakatanenga
Having fitted the Exmoor extended seat base it lifted me up to much so decided to get the Nak ones
I don't know if it was that I had a hard day but the Mud rails are a 5 min job but seemed to take ages to fit the Nak ones fiddling with washers and nuts under the rail when it's fitted Wink reckon some captive nuts would be better like the mud rails or even a bit of flat bar welded on & drilled and tapped Thumbs Up

Thanks for the link Mick, trying to find a comfortable seating position in a defender is like looking for the holy grail then just when you think you have found it the wife borrows the defender and moves the seat Laughing so these may certainly help. 2015 HT XS 90

Hi gents,

Mick is right the rails in my opinion need to be adjustable and the ones of paddock worked fine as you can regulate the height and inclination which is advisble.

Even if you are not tall or big the upgrade in seating position is noticable on command & and control.

my fitting experience:

Being tall, but wanting to keep the OE steering wheel, I am interested in lower height rails. No rails and XS seat just give the safe gap. However I feel that a more padded seat would be better, so need no height but more backwards slide. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world.
