Turbo oil drain pipe weeping. Gasket? 2001 TD5 90
My oil drain pipe from the turbo to the sump is weeping at the turbo end. Is there a gasket I can change to prevent this? If there is, is this the part number? ERR2109

Thanks. Mike

Our Td5 does the same. I haven't gotten to actually replace the gasket, but I have ordered PNT100030. A brief search online shows ERR2109 to be for the 300Tdi. You'll see that they are quite different.

I have also come across posts about some part warping - I think the flange at the turbo end - but I chose to ignore it and first see if replacing the gasket resolves the issue. Whistle

If you get to replacing the gasket before i do, than please keep us posted!

Greetings,

Joris

Edit/P.S.: I see that your Td5 Chawton White too. Hope there's no correlation Wink

Try not to be like me in spending 20 minutes digging out all my Allen keys and Torx keys trying to find the right one to undo the fixing I thought I could feel holding the pipe onto the turbo. Turned out that the "hole" I could feel was actually the hole that the normal hex head bolt had fallen out from Embarassed

Yeah, did mine a few months back. Didn't totally eliminate it but tons better - I think ,y track has has a remap in the past to crankcase pressure higher. I'm going to fit a provent to to deal with the excess oil. Disco 300TDi XS - Gone

Did mine yesterday. I have only driven 50 miles since in various traffic and highway, but it looks promising: no leak until now.
