Very variable, bearings on pulleys is another possibity but I'm say the belt is more likely.
What miles have they done? WeWillWinπ¬π§πΊπΈ β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

Mines due shortly then @ 60k I'm on 55k.
They are relatively cheap, around £35 IIRC Genuine. Sadly I don't know the P/N off the top of my head. Easy to change yourself, a little more complicated if you have A/C but nothing to worry about. Disconnect battery, remove fan cowling, slacken AC drive belt tensioner, remove belt. Refit new repeat in reverse the above. WeWillWinπ¬π§πΊπΈ β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

Mine was the tensioner pulley bearing.
I put some WD40 in as a test to see if it would go away, it did, been running that way since ![]() ![]() Should really replace it or syringe some proper lube past the seal.. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

Bearing of pulley (PQG500210) is a standard "6203". No need to do the whole assembly -- except for spare part-reasons.
