Think it is Devon 4x4 do a slip over bumper tow ball mount.
Yes it is Bearmach BA3107 on this page Whilst a 2" receiver is normally mounted central on a steering guard it is possible to get them offset by a maximum of about 8" or 200mm to one side Brendan |

Very old post I know but does anyone have any experience of using one of the BA3107 removable towball brackets? I fancy one for use with my Bak Rak removable winch bracket.

Unless you're only using a small winch (which will be fine) bear in mind that winch bumpers are a lot heavier duty than the standard ones. You're liable to banana a normal bumper if you load up a 9,000lbs winch on one.

Hi Cupboard,
I agree with you, I was thinking of using it off centre, over the chassis leg so that the mounting didn't do what you suggest and banana the bumper. But will it fit either side of the chassis leg mounting? looks like it's designed to do that. Can any users advise? Chris 2010 Defender 110 Station Wagon, Santorini Black. |

Think it usually goes each side of the chassis rail.
But I wondered if it would still fit if your Defender has A/C as the grill sticks out further and might stop it from fitting over the top of the bumper? I may have to remove the grill to put it on, but if it's black I can leave it on there semi-permanently. I don't think it will affect the number plate.
