Another issue has developed, not sure what it is.
When I roll to a stop and depress the clutch I hear a rattling/chattering sound, seems to come from the gearbox or transmission somewhere in the middle of the car but it is getting worse all the time. Stops as the car comes to rest. Anyone any idea what it could be be before i go to the dealers again? Andy |

Weird thing is today there isn't a sound from the gearbox Only occured after a long motorway run yesterday, guess it is one of those unexplained ones.
It has however developed a really annoying vibrating noise though, sounds like an exhaust knocking or similar, occurs when under load and lowish revs. Can't decide if it is a problem or just noisy transmission etc which is part of the cars character. Andy |

I`m having the same problem with my 130 Puma. Didn`t have this with the 90 Puma though.
It occurred firstly for a few minutes at a time on a motorway run and now happens more frequently, often when going downhill. It was worst with full weight in the back going downhill the other day, approx 35mph - 45mph on the gearbox and braking lightly there was so much chatter that I had to stop. It is the same clunky noise as you get from the gearbox/clutch area when you stall the car from first gear. We have tested to see if the handbrake was slightly sticking on but didn`t solve it. My car is definately worse affected when it has weight in the back, not sure why this would be ... Taking it to dealer next week who reckons new clutch may be needed but they haven`t done full assessment yet.. Sib Bath UK 1952 80 inch 1973 88 inch 2018 Morgan plus 4 narrow body |

Mine's gone in today, noise getting worse. Service guy mentioned a sticking handbrake as a possible source of the issue. Andy
