Never got to the bottom of it, it was definitely the handbrake causing the issue though.

Ditched the car for a Disco 3 as i was p*ssed off with the constant faults Andy

Mine was the same, clattery like anything Shocked Dealer said it was the gearbox, so I waited for a couple of weeks for the new gearbox to arrive they took it off and the clutch fell out in pieces Laughing So gearbox was not needed after all but I did then had to wait another week for land rover to find a new clutch Laughing I does sound like yours is going.

Clutch Update
Mine had a new clutch in on Friday and seems to have reduced the rattle sound considerably.

Strange that it did reduce it some. Must have been a combination of clutch and normal chatter. Lets wait and see.

I just hope the dealers didn't put grease in the gearbox to keep the customer and the gearbox quiet. Whistle

Just re tightened the front of the rear prop bolts again Rolling Eyes and boy is she quieter now.

I've had to do this on both my props as they were all loose and one UJ was missing a grease nipple!
