They're either 265/75/16 or 285/70/16. I would guess 265, which is more typical for 16" rims, but they do look particularly wide in that photo, so could be 285. Hard to tell exactly, but they are most likely to be 265/75/16. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Awesome, thanks guys. The blog says they're 285/85 but the chassis is on a 1.5" lift.

the interesting thing about everyones personal views on whether tyres fit or not; is that its so dependent upon what wheels you have, and what you do with the vehicle. for example, the offset could be anywhere between -35 and +8, and somebody who never goes off road will never see the articulation which causes rubbing in the arches and eyebrows; and what about the effect on turning circle!
i know for fact that 265/75/16 on 0 offset modulars only just clear my arches and eyebrows when off road. a 285 would definately rub and negatively effect turning circle. However if i was running them on alloy wheels with negative offset and mostly did road work it would be fine! Ultmately with all these threads you need more info, and YMMV |

I dont doubt you, but this picture is my experience. dont think i would have got a bigger tyre in that arch. having said that people will be making an orderly queue to tell me 285's wont be an issue. I think the other variable is that your average extreme mud tyres are generally bigger than an AT tyre as well.
