- Royal Armouries Museum
- A nice trip to Harrogate?
- National Coal Mining Museum
- A general exploration of York? The Shambles, York Minister, York Castle Museum, Bettys Tea Shop... there might even be the falconry show going on?
- Not sure if the York Maze is open.... think it is!
- Take a drive over to Knaresborough and walk along Abbey Road etc...
- Take a trip to Whitbey? See the Abbey and walk on the 'front'.
LOTS to do in Gods Own Country!
To add to the "general exploration of York"...dont forget to walk the walls. Ive been to York many times, but only recently did the walls. You get a different perspective on the city, very interesting. If you have small kids (or even big ones) keep them away from the edges of the walls, in places there are no railings and a bit of a drop..
cheers
