He puts it well that there are very few facts when it comes to predicting the long term outcome of either vote, only guesses. And... we'll never even know if we made the best decision! |

Blimey didn't think defender drivers read the sun. Next defender drivers that read the mail. Can't imagine what goes through people's mind when they read the front covers of these papers, then think I'll buy one of those.
But guess life would be very boring if everyone thought the same. |

I don't ever buy them, only see online front pages.
That's when they aren't photoshopped mind you. ![]() |

Ultimately neither side can be sure of their financial predictions.
This has never happened before, and saying we can be like Norway or Switzerland or whoever is irrelevant because we are fundamentally different. For me, whether its £350m a week for or against isnt the issue. I've taken my decision to vote leave based on many things, some listed in the Sun editorial, but certainly NOT based on the financial forecasts of various interested parties. For the undecided I would respectfully suggest you to make your decision by disregarding the money situation. I think you can be safe in the knowledge that there wont be fiscal armageddon, WW3 or unemployment anywhere near the southern europeans are suffering. I'm prepared to be financially worse off for this country to be allowed to make its own mistakes, have the option to moan about it and crucially be able to have a chance of doing something about it. Vote to stay in and we might as well get rid of our MPs. |

I don't want to be financially worse off. There's a damn good chance the markets will take a dive. I said on disco forum earlier, I'll be alright my investments have 35 years to recover.

Anyone changed their mind for in or out after listening to debates like this since the campaign started?

To be honest, even if we do vote as a country for 'out' things aren't going to happen overnight. With such a tight decision inevitable it's going to be a few years before we're allowed to follow out the decision made on the 23rd. There's going to be so much interference from the losing side because some are getting so passionate about their beliefs that they'll find it nigh on impossible to admit defeat.
A strong Government could, and should, grasp the decision and put it to bed and get the country to stand together and head in the direction the vote takes us but, can we see that happening? |

That's one of the happiest thoughts I've read so far, unfortunately about as likely as bringing the Defender back!!!!! |

The problem is, none of them will do what the public want.
They seem to think they know best themselves and treat the public like they are children. ![]() |

One thing I keep hearing from all over is how we could regain control, make our own decisions. Really? Do they seriously believe that will happen? Because I don't. My personal feeling is quite the opposite will happen.

This I don't understand? If we vote out then the eu can't control any of our decisions. We can choose to compromise with the eu and work with them but it's OUR decision. If we vote out it won't affect you living in Europe so you don't need to worry about that ![]() My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |
