My first inclination would be to park it up on full lock to left and have a look underneath. Even better jack both front wheels up and give em a spin...

The simplest thing would be the inner edge of the tyre catching the front radius arm, which would be obvious as a shiny wear patch on the arm. Easily fixed by adjusting the lock stop.

Just had it up on stands and no movement in the bearings. Up or down and side to side. The wheels spin nice with NI grinding or notchy movement. Plenty of room from the steering stops.
The swivel seals need changing for sure. There is some pitting on the swivels. I have no idea now? Also I live on a bumpy lane and can feel movement through the steering wheel when driving slowly up the lane? Any suggestions? |
