Gave it a good clean up and MOT passed earlier so a good week of Landrover ownership.

Thank you guys.
The next job is rust proofing and paint the hubs.
It is Belize green, I really wanted aintree green but this was a good buy and really like it now.

I hope that you also replaced the flanges and halfshafts, before spending time in rustbusting the old ones.

Very nice to see that you're restoring it to the classic look, congratulations with this beauty!

looking great! I do a have a standard black grill here if your interested, Will have to get a OEM badge for it. Also I do have the black surrounds too, but one is damaged, but the passenger side is ok. Will save you a bit on buying a new grill.

So the weekends work was a good service with a friend of mine which went nice and smoothly. Used the time to get the centre armrest installed properly as the previous owner has bodged it in.
