The next job is rust proofing and paint the hubs. It is Belize green, I really wanted aintree green but this was a good buy and really like it now. |

Many thanks for your reply, yes its a brighter green than the Conniston green that was/is on mine 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

I hope that you also replaced the flanges and halfshafts, before spending time in rustbusting the old ones.

looking great! I do a have a standard black grill here if your interested, Will have to get a OEM badge for it. Also I do have the black surrounds too, but one is damaged, but the passenger side is ok. Will save you a bit on buying a new grill.

So the weekends work was a good service with a friend of mine which went nice and smoothly. Used the time to get the centre armrest installed properly as the previous owner has bodged it in.
