We did have an outstanding day. Weather was glorious, loads of snow on the lanes - a number we drove hadn't had any vehicles on them since the snow fell so they were a little challenging but it was absolutely fantastic. The TC was working overtime but at no time did we need chains despite the gradient, the snow and the ice. Fabulous

After a having a great week off playing in the snow with my landy, had to return to work this week. Unfortunately the snow isn't as much fun when you have to work in and around it Total nightmare with delays and getting stuck for 4hours due to a track fault Bl**dy snow, when is it going to melt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian, I had a similiar drive home from Shotts tonight...........snow piled up to the height of the Landy on the hartwood hill. Newmains roundabout to Coopers was treacherous - sheet ice al the way. Life is not a rehearsal!

Good point, but that's the lorry driver trying to interfere with his own rescue, no wonder it was hard going!! :rolllaugh: Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
