Im using a Nikon D5000 as my first DSLR but havent reached the quality of your photos yet Did you teach yourself, any recommended books? I do a bit of photography. I find that most pictures look pretty average out of the camera. Post processing won't make a bad or boring picture good, but it will transform a good photograph into a fantastic one. A very quick example of what can be achieved in post production, with a technically poor picture - not even in focus correctly! Quick snap I took yesterday, straight out of the camera - D90 with 18-50 2.8 After a moment or two in Lightroom 3; Have a look at Talkphotography.co.uk - great forum with some superbly knowledgeable people. Well said Simon. Lightroom 3 is fabulous. There are many, many websites that'll give you guidance Warpig, and the one Simon mention is great - well worth spending some time there.

Hmmmm, and i thought my Fuji Finepix camera was good enough.
you guys are in a whole different league. beyond me i'm afraid, but at least i can enjoy the fruits of your labours. cheers for the great pics, keep them coming BM52 |
