I would be 50:50 about this.... it is a very well made Land Rover... BUT with it not being 'real' G4 I reckon it wouldn't command the G4 price on re-sale.
Biut like people who spend £20k making a 300tdi 90 look like a SVX and then expect it to sell for £25k.... then wonder why it doesn't sell

Hi,
This was one of 6 11O puma USW that were pulled off the production line, originally in black and prepped for the G4 09 Mongolian Recce. Four of them were used as Recce vehicles the other 2 i pressume were spares, this(the one on ebay) is one of the spares. Then along come three students going around the world on the Atlantic rising exped. They managed to write this one(on ebay) off on way to the port on leaving UK!! so LR offered them another which they are still using. its not a G4 to quote the ad:
COMPLETELY REBUILT TO 2009 G4 SPEC REGISTERED ON A 2004 LAND ROVER its a chopped up orange 2004. May be well done but that doesn't make it a real G4 when it comes to selling it. Pom |

Yes, May well be as advertised built on 2004 defender but body is from the one which was written off by atlantic rising team
 If you look on the photos on rear left door its got the atlantic rising sticker.

and how much of the body is original, i,e panels replaced etc.
Its just a nice rebuilt defender , good colour, very over priced  |

It is a very nicely rebuilt vehicle and yes i wouldn't complain about the colour although not to everyones tastes. But yes very over priced, i have just 3 months back paid about this for an original G4 puma 110 USW used on the Mongolian Recce.

The body shell they have used is the genuine article, as Sweep mentioned,
It was listed about v12 months ago on e-bay, IIRC made about 3k Sweep, you will have lost very little on your G4,, if any I know of a home for one California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

I could fit a SVX gear knob to mine.... doesn't mean it is a SVX nor I will try to add £15k onto the asking price

You did miss the point thought,, The rebuild that's listed does have an original G4 body shell, all be off a written off GEN G4 Puma 110 Never said that make it worth anywhere near what they think its worth,, at that price, you may as well but a new 110XS !! I don't really know anything about the G4 vehicle. Is it different mechanically from a standard? If not, why the price tag?

The same both mechanically and trim wise as a normal 110,, 2007 G4's based on XS trim with Utility pack,,
Then had the rack, winch RAI, lamps, etc, plus the paint, added to make a G4 California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1
