I use m8x20 on chassis swaps on most mountings. Buy them 5000 at a time

Thanks Paul,
I looked on line and it stated M8 flanged nuts/bolts. However, none I have just taken off my mid crossmember were flanged.... Does it matter so long as washers are in place? Would using nylocs be a good idea, or just go with spring washers? Cheers, Rob |

I just use conventional zinc plated bolts. Washer both sides and always use nylocs

Just about to replace my fixings on this. Should you use any anti-sieze with Nylocs such as copper grease, and any thoughts on torque? Does copper slip affect torquing?
I've done an internet search, and much conflicting opinion. Many thanks |

It certainly wouldn't hurt. Always grateful of copper grease when you need to remove that part in 5 years time
