Corroded Block-fixing-catch slide window very easy to replace you need part number depending on age of the vehicle
To (V) 1A 621960 From (V) 1A 621961 As for the muck and green stuff that is not so easy to get at unless you take the windows apart (not a five minute job) I have found that if you use a long thin screwdriver with bits of cloth wound round the blade you can clean most of the gunk out of the space. I use moss killer from the garden centre. Spray on and just leave it.. it will die and then just brush off the residue with a clean toothbrush.
As for the corroded bracket, just unscrew it, reface it with a brush / sandpaper and respray with etch primer & a black paint of your choice. 1953 80" 1987 mini city e 2011 90" |
