I always used to use an open air car park off Sovereign Street which is literally a 10mins walk into the centre. Reasonably priced from memory and it was just a large gravel patch of land so no height restrictions as far as I can recall. Its probably 4-5 years since I used it so don't know if it is still there. Hopefully someone more local can give more info

There is a good secure park down by the Doubletree (Hilton) under the railway arches I think, no height problems and only 5 mins walk into centre. Not cheap but gives peace of mind. Follow the directions to the Doubletree. Jeff

There's a multi story above Bibi restaurant that in theory you can get into.
However I caught the back edge of my roof when coming down the slopes between floors on the way out so deffo one to avoid... Got in with no problem though! The Soverign Street gravel car park referred to earlier is now an office block in course if construction. Was ideal for Defender parking. |

Large open car park on the site of the old tetleys brewery (dock street area) is the one I use
