New Range Rover Evoke
Well, thats the name of the LRX concept as released to the world this afternoon.

http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/lr/lrx-concept/lrx-concept/

Probably the natural replacement for the FL2??

It looks stunning but I have to say it was the most underwhelming vehicle launch ever.

Sign of these austere times! One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
+ New Defender 110 First Edition

I have been told that Victoria Beckham is over in the UK at the moment because LR have asked her to design the interior of the LRX. WTF does that say about the LRX/Evoke? How much money are they wasting to get her involved? I am sure a room full of proper developers/engineers would do a better job. FFS LR what the hell are you doing?

I have to say I have come back to the LR brand after a couple of years elsewhere and I am already wondering if I was right in doing so, if it wasn't for the Defender I don't think I would touch a new LR.

She is apparently a Creative Interior Design Executive for a limited edition version. I guess this means LR really have sold out now.

Look out for Prada, Christian Dior and Aquasrruttum limited editions in the first few years, then when its 10-years old and well over-due replacing LR will launch TK-Maxx, B&M and Dunnhelm Mill limited edition models designed by Jordan, Charlotte Church and any other has been, washed up, waste of Oxygen, tosser/celeb'. Very Happy

Aren't we the lucky ones! Do LR really think that people are so stupid that Beckham will suddenly mean everyone will want to buy their 4x4s?

We saw it about 6 months ago as it was then - really nice.

Apparently the engine combination is amazingly frugal and the capability is maintained.

Go on LR Thumbs Up Mike

the only involvement the ex spice girls should have is giving your new purchase a complimentary wash whist wearing the skimpiest of bikini's.
