if your using stainless bolts i would not use copper paste as that will be copper,ss,and ali in contact with each other! use ceremac ,duralac or some other non metallic anti seize paste,,in truth you are just trying to dispel and keep water out of the contacts as its moisture that drives the the problem,duralac does have a tendency to go hard though thats why i prefer the ceremac paste,

All fitted and much smarter! I had some Lithium grease in the garage…so I used that for the threads. I hope that will be ok!

The other thing worth including are some nylon washers to separate the bolt heads/regular washers from the bodywork:
