More progress today, for a while I have been starring at the chassis then starring at the loom, well this wasn't going to sort itself out so after trialling several methods I came up with this:
Click image to enlarge It's simply some plastic banding strip and some black nasty but it worked very well. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge So lessons learnt; • Don't think you are clever pre cavity waxing, it will be easier to do it after the loom is in. • Swearing lots works. • Make sure you check which way the loom goes, educated guess worked this time though. Once this was done I did some more work on the engine; Timing housing going together nicely Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Finding yet more bits to de-rust,clean and paint Click image to enlarge Teaser.......... I couldn't resist a little mock-up to see what it's guna look like: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Still loads to do on the engine, timing etc but it's slowly getting there 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

if only it was really that good, unfortunately boring things like paperwork and computers come into the working day and for some reason they take a dim view of me modifying them when they find out 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html
