Might be worth removing and cleaning the map sensor
But it could be a pipe or the intercooler. No strange noises is presume? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

New intercooler and pipes would be my fist port of call then. Anything that has changed from before should be the first thing to check. 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Also if you are running a boost limit box that could have gone faulty. But definately check what's changed first 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Yeah what boost your running? 18psi is the limit. Any above needs a boost box or uprated MAP sensor + raised boost limit

Leaky new silicon pipes would be my guess. Checked they've not slipped and the clips are tight tight. Then intercooler

Standard boost on a Td5 is 1 Bar (~15psi) 19psi is right at the upper limit of what the ECU will allow before boost cut strategy kicks in. 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
