I was going to ask about that, I'm assuming nothing is provided, which is handy as I'm one of those weird gluten intolerances nobs... strangely, whisky doesn't affect me...but alas, my favourite thing in the whole world, real ale, does Big Cry
Plenty of food and plenty of drink it is! Thumbs Up

Drone footage!? Wow that would be quite something! although I know Ian had a bit of a howler with someone crashing theirs whilst trying to use one on a 4x4 trip a few months ago......

I reckon I'll only be doing hovers for vantage point and potentially area of interest drone loiter... And in low winds / clear areas. Nothing too fancy!

There will be no food provided I'm afraid!

My wife suggested that I put an idea out there that everyone brings a bit of home baking to share whilst we are out and about as a wee treat on the trail?

Awesome, I've packed the Landy already......

Early I know, but this week is a mental busy week:-

Monday night - Scouts;
Tuesday Night - Son's B'day;
Wednesday Night - Cubs;
Thursday Night - Cubs;
Friday night driving to venue;

Chuck in a demanding job as well, you see why I've packed the truck today Smile

PS am intending to take some home bakes.

Cheers
Andy

Depends who your local dealer is Thumbs Up

I was chatting with customers today about our wee trip Whistle My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years.

That's great guys!

Out of interest which dealers have got wind that we are having a run out?!

Seems like the trip is all starting to fall into place!

All I need to do now is finish the trailer and hope that the local independent can bottom the injector issue that I have Sad

I don't think I'll be with any others (other than my wife!)

Planning to do South Yorkshire - Haddington on Thursday and have a layover at my aunts house then do Haddington- Newtonmore(ish) Friday AM, so I guess there may be the chance I'll bump into folk en route.

It's just had new injectors and it's got an 'orrible rattle at idle- hopefully (another set of) replacements are arriving on Tuesday fingers crossed. Not panicking yet.....

I'm rather hoping not!

The rattle is related to poor injector performance at idle so fingers crossed the new set of recon ones should sort it. It's just a pain that it looks like two of the recon units have not performed as they should.

I think a few of them lurk on here in case of any dealer bashing. I did mention to the Servicing manager at Taggarts in Glasgow but that was a while back. But he like a few others over there are Defender enthusiasts.

Really looking fwd to this! Contemplating binning a days rate at work to head up early on the Friday.
