Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone might be interested in a trip to the Highlands next year. My old boss runs Highland All terrain, and organises trips on a number of estates near Aviemore and Spean Bridge. If anyone saw the article 'going out on a high' from the Highlands in last months LRO mag, that's the one. See this article http://www.lro.com/features-reviews/featur...on-a-high/ If there are interested folk I could potentially organise a trip up? Chris Last edited by Chris86 on 8th Feb 2018 3:16pm. I might be interested depending on price and date, I work at a number of the big charity challenge endurance events during the summer so the date is potentially important!

Summer is probably best avoided, everyone is busy and it would be Ians peak season so he is likely to not be able to be as flexible. Will see how many more responses this post gets in the next week or so to gauge interest and take it from there. Price would be dependent on numbers, but accommodation (particularly in the low season) is not bad and Ian can possibly also help out with that if we need him to.
@Rosco what did you think the the article?! Chris |

Liked the article. Some awesome looking scenery. They always seem to pitch them right to give you that itch to go out somewhere for an adventure. If only I had the time/money to do so.
Perhaps I should make it my New Years resolution? 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

It's about time you Southerners took a wee trip North. We've got mountains and stuff |

Sounds good to me, I have not been up for about 18 months as it stands, which I think is the longest time out of Scotland for me since I was about 10! So 5 so far?!
I'll give Ian a bell later this week and start talking money. Chris |

I would be interested.
We hired the gate house lodge on Adverikie in 2000 and had one amazing white Christmas. The estate let us go and explore wherever we felt like. I think there are a range of cottages to hire. |

I'd be interested, as we haven't been to North Britain for years. Could I bring a tin tent? My, limited, experience is that the midges are somewhere else until summer, so we would prefer late spring/early summer if possible.
