Got up this morning and it was a bit chilly down South so I decided to pop on one of my favourite Val Doonican jumpers only to find it had a 'pulled thread!' I thought it was a shame the 'thread was pulled' as life was getting light- hearted and interesting again! Life ended at that moment with AndrewS implying that Discocuzzy and myself were ''Southern Jessies!'
I would like to continue the debate and keep it humorous, tongue in cheek and with no malice if I am allowed hence this thread.... In response Andrew I would like to point out I am indeed a Southern Jessie and in the sunlight down here the sea glimmers a shade of 'bali blue!' Most beaches are blue flag (also Bali) and you can swim in it with want abandon with no risk of you bumping into what you flushed a few days previously! I also think the great North - South divide exists with an imaginary line between Watford and Gloucester! I cannot remember the last time I saw either a whippet or a flat cap! In further reflection I think Fekete may have had a flat cap folded in his truck at the weekend! As a Southerner we are taught that if you cross the imaginary North - South divide you may suffer from headaches and frequent nosebleeds from the Ancient Northern custom of beating the out of each other on every street corner on the weekend! Women included! (I've watched Police Camera Action). Fekete has invited me up but I'm too frightened to go! So does the divide actually exist? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! Last edited by K9F on 3rd Sep 2010 3:38pm. Does it really matter where in England you are from... 'North'.... 'South'.... 'You can't polish a turd'.... At the end of the day you all wish you could be from God's country!!

Why do Northerners prefer mushy peas?
Because they can't keep the round ones on their knives. 130's have feeling's as well you know |

It's so nice when you take the out of yourself and others, for folk to laugh and join you.
I'm a pseudo northerner (some northeners reject Derby as a border region), married to a Southener and have worked everywhere from Thurso to Plymouth |

What's the difference between a Southern zoo and a Northern zoo?
A Southern zoo has a description of the animal on the front of the cage, along with a recipe. 130's have feeling's as well you know |

Glynne/Pete i love the welsh, but for some reason they dont like the english..AndrewS and Sonic..your both bloody borderline and even sound welsh, however ill give you the benefit of the doubt.
Can we talk about how the french formed a pact with the scots but didnt turn up when they decided to invade....fast forward 100 years and they still havent turned up to any major conflicts! At least the scots /english/welsh even though we all hate each other get stuck in when there is a conflict under the "great britain" flag..love em Very pertinent K9 on the 70th aniversary of the battle of britain.....Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few....... I love this country...even Red dot would get a big kiss right now after 6 pints of stella You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things |
