Downham Market.....Blast from the past....I was at Marham in the early 80s....I can remember having to dodge the barrage of sugar beet bouncing off of overloaded trailers harvest time, direct hit would do your windscreen or put a fist size dent in your vehicle....country lanes that were barely wide enough for a bicycle....all the nurses in the nursing home in Kings Lynn had the same nightgowns - RAF light blue shirts...happy memories I think you're in a category all of your own...but 'partly South due to association!!!' If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Spot on K9F. Things haven't changed that much since the 80's by the sound of it, just the tractors are faster so flying beet and veg are more dangerous.
