Hi there,
I saw the follwoing bulltin on Topix and thanks to Pete, I got the details as follows: so has anybody done this one? so what's the difference.... I have forwarded this to my dealer and see what happens. mind you there is probably a six months delay down here... Cheers Service Action Number: Q360v3 Charge Air Hose Turbo to Intercooler Publication No.: Q360v3 Model: Defender (LD) Model Years: 2012 - 2013 Vin Range: LD412051 - LD445881 Date of Issue: 14/04/2016 Expiry Date: 30/04/2017 The charge air cooler (CAC) hose, between the turbocharger and charge air cooler, can become detached. On Right Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles ONLY, the CAC hose may also foul the steering shaft. Please note: This Service Action replaces Q205 for the charge air cooler hose replacement. Q205 has been re-issued for the vehicles affected by the coolant hose spring check and/repair only. Please ensure any vehicles showing on DDW affected by Q360 and Q205 are repaired at the same time. Action to be taken You are requested to contact the owners of the affected vehicles and request that the vehicle is made available at the earliest opportunity to replace the charge air cooler hose. |

Just checked on Topix and mine has the Q360V3 fix listed.
I'll await the call or letter from the dealer. Could be an opportunity to haggle for a deal on the annual service this time round as I had planned to service the 110 myself now its out of warranty. Along the lines of "as you have it in the workshop for the intercooler hose fix, do you fancy doing a great deal on the service?" |
