EGR valve question
Team,
Got a question, the EGR valve has croaked on the 110, luckily in the closed position. The plan is to go for a cheeky remap and get the MIL light turned off in the deal, thing is do I need a working valve or can I just blank off the duff one, both mechanically and electronically?
Also will I kill the car by driving her like this, 'cause she is going like a train at the mo.......

Gary @ Alive shut mine off that was stuck shut and illuminating the MIL.
Still the same valve fitted now but with a blank.
Ideally it'd be good to have a new valve for the sake of it but I never did.

Not prepared to waste £160 for the sake of it.

Not had a single issue. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Definitely don't regret getting rid of that issue with a EGR delete and remap.
Remap has other benefits too.
