Door shutlines look about right for a Series too! That's not a dent, it's a rivet. That's not a dent, it's a rivet. That's not ... oh! That is a dent! 2014 90 XS SW 1997 Discovery 300TdiS (retired to stud) 1966 Series IIA 88" (now my son's) 2001 Astra - I need something to go and buy the parts when the others are off the road! |

Click image to enlarge First and only picture on collection. Just drove about 160 miles home. I can't believe how much more refined it is than my 62 reg 90sw xs. Gearbox smooth. Steering doesn't fight with you when you hit a bump. Also to say it hasn't got carpet it's quieter too. And to top it off appears to pull better. I'll take some better pics tomorrow just collecting a well deserved Chinese takeaway!! (in the heritage of course) Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 2015 90SW Heritage MY16, 2016 90SW XS MY16 (123rd b4 the last build) & RRS HSE MY15 |

Cheers guys! It really is special. Got lots of people looking at it and a few smiles. When I pulled up at home my wife said it almost brings a tear to your eye that we have a new defender based on the first. Which is coming to an end.

Probably the most important question being 'How many will leak?" Or perhaps better phrased "How many will not leak?" I set up a poll under general so please feel free to vote Any farther South and I'll need to trade the Defender in for a Landing Craft

No speakers or wires at all. But the front grills are. In the back you have to cut the template out. They put me a pair of pioneers in. Alpine head unit similar to oem. It sounds better than my standard xs

Always bugs me that the numberplate is taller than the face of the bumper and so has to over or under hang |

Luckily ours is small enough to fit behind the bumper, below the headlight surround(you can see the holder in the picture)
