It's maaassive! The chap stood next to it was a good 6'2".... evidently they top out at nearly 6 tonnes. They're built in a village not far from me. All men dream but not equally. Or a Pangolin! www.pangolin-armour.com -also made by the same company but Defender based - I see a lot of them in Dorset because they test them before they go to Northern Ireland

The Ovik Crossway is even available with a 300TDi!
The wheelbase options are 94", 114" and 131" for anyone else wondering. It looks like it's going at the Defender market, good on them! I might buy one in a few years. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

I'd be very happy if that was the defender replacement!
I'm sure someone could mock up a defender style headlight and grill setup to complete it! Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

yes, I agree some of the angles look a bit weird and the front looks a bit goofy. Rest is good I think.
And it's catering to the market that I'm in - well, I doubt I could afford one but you know. Utility, practicality, flexibility. For instance, I cleaned our farm Defender out with an air line today. How many other vehicles in the current LR fleet would that be appropriate for? I'm not saying you should be able to do that with a Range Rover, but it was "right" with the Defender. |
