Stop giving me ideas
Twisted have always kept the brake/tails led red lens which I prefer, especially as I am about to add the extra 2 clear lights so the red ones break it up.. All my rear lights are LED from mobilecentre. lol, did'nt know that twisted did the red ones on the back as 'standard to them' i just thought you might go clear on the back to match the front ones in your pics (would be different for a twisted defender !) lol

Box from Mobilecentre landed this morning.... Went for the worklight first. Mounts nicley onto the rack plate, cable taken along and as with the front spots comes in using one of the rack brackets. Using my last switch for this, only have this discovery top as its something different so i dont get confused

Got the extra NAS lights fitted... This makes a massive difference, the rear is so much more brighter now and with the big wheel sitting on the rear door you can clearly see what i am doing. All you need for this job is
Masking Tape 6.5mm drill bit 20mm Bi metal hole saw Marker Level Email address for Billy or Tim at Mobilecentre Poor quality pics i am afraid.. Look like it was meant to be! I'd pictured the fogs in the middle, not sure why but looks good on the inside.

Cheers
I went with this setup as the drivers side inner light is less obvious with the wheel, I just wanted the reverse to be clearer as I use it more often than the fogs. Andy
What Is the paint or marks around the holes you cut? Also what are the plugs in the screw fixing holes? I need to do this while replacing my old rectangle fog and reverse with my NAS led lights Thanks andy |

Hi Andy,
I just use some Wurth Aluminium Primer brushed around the holes, better than nothing I guessed. The plugs are the same ones used by LR, they are square, designed to sit in a square cut out but I did a few tests and they work fine pushed into a 6.5mm hole. Just a tip on the primer you painted on, primer is porous so it's best to paint or lacquer over the top of it so it doesn't hold water against to metal Ray

Just going back to the orientation of the reversing/fog lights. Thinking about it more the option you've chosen is a much better idea as it separates the glaring fog light from the indicators. Thus making the indicators easier to see when the fogs are on.
How did you get the fog electric supply to the other side of the door and vice versa for the reversing light? |

Good call. Will probably just brush some lacquer over it as I have some sitting there...
