Boy I just had a gleg at the link and their steering wheels.. Cor blimey, more bling than a top class jewellers. With so much choice and bling I think it would be very difficult to choose. I do like to try before buying if possible to get exactly what I want... I also agree about your second sentiment about the products not being seen in a Land Rover, still wouldn't mind 'trying' one or two to see how they would look though!!! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

It is difficult to comment....With the M&M covers being sand coloured I would imagine the wheel matching quite nicely...My vehicle is stornoway grey and the M&M covers I have ordered are grey too, this then also influenced my choice of wheel...
I had the fortune of being able to mix and match at the steering wheel suppliers until I got the combination I felt was just right....Then again my taste isn't the same as everybody elses (see Mike's comments above). If your choice of steering wheel does not sit comfortable with you it may play on your mind (it would me) and therefore it may be best to do something about it. You could always see if you could get it reworked in black leather! I don't suppose I could be cheeky enough to enquire how much they are? Update: Just had a look at their shop....More expensive than Mota - Lita, couldn't see a boss listed for Land Rover, must be a direct fit maybe? In that photo I did not have the covers on but fitted them aftger. I just bought a boss from a company on ebay and the wheel fitted just fine. The boss was £18 cheaper as one avertised on a land rover parts site and when it arrived it was the same so I was happy aobut that. |

Justin, Invariably we do all chip in to help one another and this site is a goldmine of useful information! You also hit lucky as I went through due process to get what you were considering purchasing yourself! Welcome to the site by the way! Ironical as it may be I have just purchased some M &M seat covers from Devon 4 X 4 and when I enquired they stated they don't get many enquiries for Defender ones hence the reason they are not listed on their website! They said it was unusual as on the same day I enquired they had received another enquiry from your neck of the woods! Was that you as well? Be strange if it was! Justin, I am a great believer in 'you get what you pay for' the covers aren't cheap but there are several good recommendations from this thread about them: Picture of the sand coloured ones too: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic1780.h...lvill+moon Linky thingy: http://www.melvillandmoon.com/seat_covers.html If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
