Mike,

The wheel matches my aluminium billet door handles..were it not for the fact a pair of SVX aluminium difflock and gear change knobs cost £1000 I'd have them too, but sense and sensibility must prevail!

Keep your eye on the Croytec web site - they told me a couple of months ago that they are working on ali gear/difflock knobs for the puma Thumbs Up

I have an Irvine flying jacket made by Mota Lita - an excellent piece of kit.

I think your steering wheel looks great - I have been contemplating getting one for some time - but in black.

in my personal opinion, motolita styling are so far from the Defender Puma facia style.....

Disco,

They manufacture allsorts including wood laminate ones for Aston Martins etc. I'm not sure but most are a standard machine fit onto a common boss size! It is only the mounting of that boss and splines that differ. Andover is but 6 or 7 miles away, give 'em a tinkle and pop along you've nothing to lose and I'm 99% sure they'll help you out! Ironical if they have two Defender visitations in two days! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

13" (330mm) are to much small and the steering wheel will become to much "hard". I suggest you a 350mm or a 360mm (like my Raid) Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

Bob,

Thanks for your comments and the tip...Will do! 'PM' sent!

Dgardel,

I just love your door handles.... Laughing In fact I personally prefer 'your experimental' steering wheel too over the one fitted on the door handle picture! I must be just like a magpie attracted to things that are shiney. Bling bling! Laughing If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Off Topic Red Dot, your post did make me chuckle and remind me of my all time top favourite comedy sketch involving the Two Ronnies....Look it up on You Tube...Can you guess what it is????

Door Handles...Four Candles...Fork 'andles.... Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 'Ave you got 'hose?' Laughing

If you are indeed serious...check out the internal door handles on Dgardel's and my photos! Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

K9, how thick is the grip on the Moto-lita wheel over the original and how much further does it stick out from the column? 110 2.4TDCi

The grip is ever so slightly smaller and the wheel being flat sits in the same position as the original in relation to the stalks! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Thanks. I was hoping you were going to say it was a little larger. I thought from the pic's it seemed to sit about the same distance though. Hmmm, should I or shouldn't I? Will have to see how much shipping is and go and count the splines. 110 2.4TDCi

Speak to Mota - Lita direct they could make the grip as you would like it! They may also be able to ship it for you too! Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

I have an Isotta steering wheel. Very heavy and seams very good quality.

I have 350mm Diamantina 138 series from the catalogue. Some of thier stuff goes beyond bling Laughing and should never be seen in a land rover.
