Nope, they are black underneath. Mine are silver, but in the arches where they've been struck by stones and the paitn ahs flaked off they are black and smooth. I raised a question on here about the paint chipping (on the inside of the arches) and was tolkd its safe/normal, so I woudl suggest they use a smoother grained plastic for the body colour items.

i wish mine where the same colour all the way through then all the scratches wouldn't show as grey/white under coat on a black wheel spat.
