Body coloured wheel arches
Hi all. My new toy has the black slightly course feeling wheelarches on it as it is the most basic model in the range. I would like to get body coloured arches sorted for it but having only has XS models before which come with them as standard I am unfamiliar with how I can sort this out. They body coloured ones are smooth but seem to be the same colour all the way through, which I found out when I tore and old one off my last truck on a barbed wire fence. I therefore assume you don't simply paint the current ones to match but rather you have to buy a set of correctly coloured ones from Land Rover direct. Is this correct? Any have an idea on price?

Nope, they are black underneath. Mine are silver, but in the arches where they've been struck by stones and the paitn ahs flaked off they are black and smooth. I raised a question on here about the paint chipping (on the inside of the arches) and was tolkd its safe/normal, so I woudl suggest they use a smoother grained plastic for the body colour items.

i wish mine where the same colour all the way through then all the scratches wouldn't show as grey/white under coat on a black wheel spat.
