Hello,
I just recently bought a 2007 90 Defender Puma and the A/C don't work. Did some preliminary checking and the A/C fuse was blown, replaced it and it blew immediately when A/C switched on. Disconnected the condenser fan and the fuse don't blow. Hooked power to the fan and it run OK. Switching on the A/C when condenser fan disconnected, the fuse don't blow, but compressor don't start. There is "enough" refrigerant in the system, checked pressure. I have the factory service manual in PDF, but from where could I get the wiring diagrams? There is suspicious jumper wires in the fuse box, so probably I have some electrical work to do. Sorry about my English, I'm not native English. TIA, Juha |

Thanks, K9F.
Got the wiring diagrams, but wondering where the relays are? There is a separate relay for the A/C clutch and one for the condenser fan. They probably are under the seats, but someone installed Recaro seats that do not have the cushion removable, I have to take some photos to show what I got. These I have somehow convert so that the whole seat can be removed easily if/when needed. Could someone tell the location of these relays, please. |

Either under the passenger seat or under the steering wheel on right hand drive vehicles. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
